Food Diaries

I know people usually give something up for lent, but this year, I'm chronicling my eating habits until Easter.

In a way, I'm giving up the reckless abandon of eating anything my heart desires which has led to not really caring or thinking twice about what it does to my body.

By writing my meals down, maybe I'll be more careful of what I put into this vessel.  I'm off to a good start.  I've had cake and cookies the past few days, and previously, I would forget my unhealthy choices and start the day fresh with...eh more unhealthy choices.

But no more... !  By writing down what I've eaten, not only do I have a dietary record, but I also feel REMORSE.  Wow, that's big.

Alright, this journal is personal, but from time to time I'll share what I've consumed, like today's breakfast which consisted of Chobani's strawberry flavored Greek non-fat yogurt with a handful of fresh blueberries and coffee with 2% milk. Yess!
